Sebastian Beck, Leasing Manager
Commitment pays!
At the end of the 90s I analysed a location in Wroctaw, Poland, for a small project developer. There I discovered the Galeria centre under construction. Because I was curious about the project, I began doing some research and developed a keen interest in ECE. As the largest centre management company in Europe, ECE was my first choice!
I had the advantage of getting to know the company without any direct pressure during the initial projects. Just five months and some 100 leasing meetings later, I became a Leasing Manager and took on my first centre independently. What a great feeling!
I face new challenges every day in my career. It’s really exciting to find the right solution for such a wide range of needs. As you can imagine, a textile company manager and a butcher have completely different demands when it comes to the real estate they require. And that makes the work really diverse and helps me to grow personally.
ECE may be a global player, but it is also extremely active in Germany, with its roots firmly in Hamburg. It is a family-run company and has developed a great deal in the last several years. At the same time, the company is stable and has a sustainable structure. ECE has the potential to become even more successful in the long term and is number one in the European industry.
The working conditions are ideal and I work with a great team. I simply enjoy working here. Everyone can, indeed they must, contribute their own ideas. Just like any other company, ECE thrives through the commitment of its employees. The more good ideas you contribute, the more of them will find their way into the finished product!
